We are proud to be a local, green worker run cooperative located in the heart of the South Bronx, but please read how our customers feel about us: lianna G. from Brooklyn, NY says: If you like funky things and dont want to furnish your space with stuff from mainstream stores, check this place out."11/28/2008 Jordan T. from Long Island City, NY says: "I went to ReBuilders Source with my organization South Bronx Urban Farmers Cooperative I am part of. We needed a stage for a bbq that we are having August 15th and this was the perfect place for all that and more! The stage we actually got was used for the play Spamalot how awesome is that?!?!?! There was some really awesome stuff on the cheap there, such as some fresh sinks on the cheap, full length mirrors, paint, doors, marble, movie seats(how pimp is that?),tiles, countertops, and anything your mind can think of to improve the crib on the cheap cheap. It's a little off of the beaten path but with prices like this you can't go wrong or make a wrong turn, because your wallet will find it. Everything is all ready marked down and always on sale at 40% to 50% off so "talking down" anything simply doesn't exist, and it is quality. It is a large warehouse so browse. You will be shocked at what you can find here. This is the "people's Home Depot" or even "Loews' stepchild that volunteers with Extreme Makeover: "Hood Edition". Bottom Line: You can find church pews and put them in your house here, swing sets for the chillins(children) and maybe some pretty pimp used stuff by the cast of Spamalot..."7/20/2009 Another customer says: "Simply amazing! Gloria says: "The staff is super cool and super friendly! Upon arrival my partner and I got a personal tour of the space, what was available and then we were left free to roam on our own. We were also treated to a game of "bowling" - a staffer lined up a few bowling pins and we were given a pin in our hands and allowed to throw the pin a few feet to try and knock down the other pins lol. After speaking to the staffer that arranged for the bowing game, I learned they are trying to get the word out to contractors, companies, schools, and the general public so they could get more traffic in the place...meaning more product in and more folks taking advantage. They're a year young but soon enough, I really do think they'll be chock full of folks." August 2009 COME VISIT US! WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY! |
